ModelMetadata fields

Combined retirement, capability, and rate-limit metadata.

  • status: Retirement status for this model identity.
  • status.deprecated (optional): True when the model should no longer be selected by default.
  • capabilities: Documented capabilities for this model identity.
  • capabilities.responses: True when the model supports the Responses API.
  • capabilities.imageInput: True when the model accepts image inputs.
  • capabilities.applyPatch: True when the model supports the apply-patch tool.
  • capabilities.webSearch: True when the model supports web search.
  • rateLimits (optional): Published rate limits when available.
  • rateLimits.inputTokensPerMinute: Published input tokens per minute, or null when unpublished.
  • rateLimits.outputTokensPerMinute: Published output tokens per minute, or null when unpublished.
  • rateLimits.queriesPerHour: Published queries per hour, or null when unpublished.
