Options accepted by emailTool.

Properties

id?

optional id?: string

Override the tool id. Defaults to "send_email"; the chat UI’s approval gate keys off this id, so keep it unless you also teach the client about the new name.

requireApproval?

optional requireApproval?: boolean | ((input, ctx?) => boolean | Promise<boolean>)

Mastra-native static or per-call approval predicate. Defaults to true. Use a function or Classifier-backed policy to allow low-risk calls while retaining human review for uncertain ones.
